ABOUT THE ARTIST.
Prosper trojman is a Spanish Moroccan autodidact artist born in Tangier.Tangier was a partly jewish city that had once been under Spanish rule with English influence.
Prosper's love and fascination of art was very evident as a young child through his young years.Art became a central focus in his life and his natural and unique talent became quickly self-evident.
His first passion as an oriental painter was visible as he prepared his canvas with a underpainting,applying pigments with a palette knife,a wide spatula,a sponge or even his fingers creating deep 3 dimensional images.
Prosper's work has evolved dramatically over the years through extensive research and endless experiments. His paintings reflected scenes fom southern Morocco,capturing festivities, recording popular customs and portraying glimpses of every day life while paying close attenction to detail.
Although Prosper's work in a figurative style is influenced by contemporary Spanish artists, he has developed his own meticulous skill to project his very unique style.
Prosper has exhibited his work extensively in Canada,Spain,Morocco and throughout Europe. His work has been successfully received by critics and collectors.
